Log Data: Food entries, added sugar amounts, meal entries, home/outside selections, activity entries, timestamps, notes, and related in-app usage records.

GLP-1 Companion Data: If you choose GLP-1 companion mode, the app may store and analyze meal-level added sugar logs, daily added sugar totals, 10g meal-limit status, 30g daily-limit status, movement-support entries, weekly graphs, reports, and related summaries.

Technical Data: IP address, device/browser information, crash and performance data, and limited analytics needed for reliability, security, and support.

We use data to provide, personalize, maintain, and improve the app, including onboarding, profile-based calculations, GLP-1 companion views, syncing across devices, saving logs and activities, generating graphs and reports, troubleshooting issues, protecting against abuse, and sending important service or security notices.

knowsugar may generate summaries, graphs, CSV exports, habit reports, weekly views, and 30-day snapshots from the information you enter. These outputs are informational and depend on the accuracy and completeness of user-entered data.

Food search results, quick picks, and added sugar values may include curated reference values, estimated amounts, average values, or approximate serving-based amounts. These values may differ from exact product labels, restaurant recipes, portions, brands, batches, or preparation methods.

knowsugar provides informational added sugar estimates and reference values for awareness and habit tracking. Users should verify exact nutritional values directly from product labels, restaurants, or trusted nutrition sources when precision matters.

knowsugar is a wellness, education, and awareness tool. GLP-1 companion mode is designed to help users organize added sugar awareness around meals, daily limits, movement support, and reports. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, cure, prevention, dosing guidance, medication-management advice, or emergency guidance. Consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical, nutrition, medication, or treatment decisions.

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with trusted service providers that help us operate the app, such as hosting, database, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, and support providers, or when required by law, legal process, security needs, or protection of rights.

We keep your data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. We may retain limited records for backup, fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal obligations, security, or compliance purposes.
